So this is my first post.....where to begin. I have seen some amazing blogs lately and so I wanted to start one for our family. I love the fact that the Wolmas have such an amazing idea! The Kenworthys are so strong and amazing and I just love to follow their blog! So I know I will never top their blogs but it is what it is.
We have an amazing family that grew from the two of us to three! Natalie Anne Bailey was born on Feb. 25, 2010. I never knew that you could love something so small and so quiet as much as I do! Natalie is perfect in every way. She has a TON dark brownish hair that continues to lighten, long beautiful eyelashes, bright blue eyes, a smile to die for, and a tempered personality! I just love her and I love being her mommy.....Dallas is so much in love and just cant seem to stop kissing & smiling around her. He is a bit protective.....where I'm a bit more laid back! It is funny to me that he once told me (just before we got married) that he never wanted kids. Now all he says is how he wouldn't know what to do without her :) So cute....I will add some pictures of Natalie and continue to blog soon.
What is going on with the Baileys for the moment? We have a 2bdr condo that we have been trying to sell for about 8months now. We had an offer and she asked for immediately possession.....5days before the closing date we called just to make sure everything was on track and we were informed yes, everything is great and closing is still set for Thursday. After moving everything out that Sunday including Natalies furniture, we got a call that the person purchasing her house backed out so she was backing out of ours! Mind you this is 2 days after we called to make sure!!! So here were are today still living at my parents hoping that our condo sells. It has been 2 months since that call and still no luck. So we sit here pondering what to do...we're paying for our condo and utilities but we don't want to go back then pack up again! At this point we have decided it is time to go back....not only is it frustrating for us but for my parents as well. They wake up and go to bed listening to this SWEET baby:) crying! It is just time to be home again and be our own family. I know I will miss all the extra help, dishes being cleaned, laundry for me and Natalie getting washed, cleaning the house...man I could go on and on! Anyways it is time for us to go back! It is just a tad too small with the baby and all. Hopefully soon we can sell and find a place that we can call home for several years to come.
Take care and talk to you soon.
